My first circuit bent toy
So I’ve been meaning to get into the art of circuit bending for a long time now.
For those who don’t know circuit bending is, it is an art created by a man called Reed Ghazallaz around 30 or 40 years ago. The way he came across it was in some desk amplifier he owned. He shut the drawer on it and a piece of metal found its way between two pieces of the circuit board causing it to short circuit and creating really interesting, weird noises.
Anyway I’ve had a book on circuit bending laying around my house for around 6 months now and had never got around to it. Then my girlfriend Sophie picked it up and started reading it and she also found it really interesting so we decided to go down to our local St. Vinnies and buy some cheap toys and circuit bend them.
This is the bi-product of that!
