Ableton

Here are some videos of things I have created using Ableton Live. Click on the images to view the videos in a light box.

Mr. Bill – APC40 Guitar
Playing a re-sampled guitar on the APC40 with an amen break and some acid bass lines made with Ableton’s native plugin, Analog.

Mr. Bill – Free Jazz Live: APC40
In this video I set my APC40 up in such a way that it was quite open to improvisation. I used a combination of gated clips, loops, the crossfade function which also doubled as a volume and filter frequency control on Lives native Analog synth. I was also using Analog for the sub bass and Electric for the chords.

Mr. Bill – Minimal Tech Sequencer
This was a response to Tom Cosm’s pro member weekly challenge #4. The challenge states: “The goal here is to create something in session view that looks nice (could be a picture or just something tech looking) and use follow actions to automate the clips moving around, triggering things.” This is what I came up with.

Mr. Bill – 10 Hour Tutorial Mega Series
This is a tune I wrote over a 10 hour mega tutorial series aimed at teaching people about how I use Ableton Live. Here is the project file in working order. This project file as well as the videos can be purchased via the shop or the hardcore section of this website.
